China is still low value adding and energy intensive


China fact, did you know that the production in China is still low value adding and energy intensive. China tries to address this in the China Manufacturing 2025 plan with the aim to upgrade its industrial base and to compete in more advanced market segments*). Focus areas are primarily within : IT (AI, big data, robotic), advanced rail, aerospace/aviation and maritime equipment, electric cars/battery technology and by using new materials.
