China Facts: JD not yet a winner!




Did you know that despite that JD Daojia is not yet any definite winner in China's fast evolving e-commerce market despite that they in terms of monthly active users on its fresh food and grocery deliveries is on par with the rest of the top-ten platforms combined? Alibaba can easily create synergy effects among its Tmall Supermarket, Hema Store, and Yiguo (a fresh e-commerce platform that Tmall invested in). Likewise traditional supermarkets like Walmart and RT Mart and logistics companies like SF Express are also setting their sights on the sector to achieve their online transformation*).
